Storelight is operated by Harlem Jacobsen Holding, Norway, the controller for the personal data described here. Contact: support@storelight.app.

What we can't see

Your files and file names are end-to-end encrypted on your device. We store only encrypted data and never receive your password or encryption keys, so we cannot read your files.

What we collect

Why we use it

To provide and secure the service, enforce quotas and fair use, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, and contact you about your account. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

We use these providers to run Storelight: Backblaze (encrypted file storage, US), Amazon Web Services (encrypted backup copy, US), Hetzner (servers and database, US), Cloudflare (network and website), Paddle (payments), Resend (email) and Sentry (crash reports). They process data only on our instructions.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists. After a subscription ends, data is deleted as described in our Terms. Backups are removed within a further 30 days. Billing records are kept as long as accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your account data, and object to certain processing. Email support@storelight.app. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority. California residents have the rights described in the CCPA; we do not sell or share personal information.

Changes

We will post updates here and email you about material changes.
